Chef Frank Mach comes to the Cypress Creek Sheraton via The Sheraton Ft Lauderdale Airport Hotel where he was the Executive Chef at the Sheraton Airport and Cruise Port Hotel. While there Chef Frank was instrumental in raising the standards for the Sheraton food presentation in the catering and banquet department and was able to showcase his skills in buffet enhancements such as fruit and vegetable carvings and ice displays.
Prior to joining the Sheraton Brand Chef Frank worked at various hotels on Ft Lauderdale beach; the Pelican Grand, Shulas Steak House, and the Double Tree Oceanfront Hotel.
Chef Frank came to Florida over 18 years ago from the Willamette Valley and Columbia River Gorge where he worked for the Red Lion Brand of Hotels on the West Coast. Chef Frank grew up in the prolific Willamette Valley and as a child he picked the various harvests of the season on the lush farms and orchids of his hometown. While in college Chef Frank worked in the various fine dining restaurants in Eugene, Oregon. Just before graduating from college he soon realized that his passion was with the Culinary Arts and transferred to a Culinary program in Mt Hood. Chef Frank has a passion for the outdoors and loves to keep himself busy building and repairing classic cars. Chef Frank is certified by the American Culinary Federation and keeps up with the latest trends and techniques within his professional network of Chefs. Chef Frank has done numerous T.V and radio shows as well as short How To videos on YouTube.
